Miracles In Motion Therapeutic Equestrian Ctr.

Miracles In Motion Therapeutic Equestrian Ctr. We use horses to effectively work with adults & children with disabilities or complex medical conditions and veterans.

In our 33rd year of operation, Miracles in Motion Therapeutic Equestrian Center uses horses to work effectively with adults and children who, due to disabilities or complex medical conditions, need assistance in developing the kinds of everyday skills that allow them to function more independently at home, school, or work. We offer various options for people with physical, motor, social, or cognitive disabilities, including therapeutic riding classes, Hippotherapy sessions, ground work programs, or a combination of these experiences to aid in rehabilitation, therapy routines, and strengthening.

We had a great time with this group of Prairie High School students today! We did a tour of the property and they learned more about our programs, herd, and volunteering. It was a wonderful experience for all, Brett included! πŸ΄πŸ’š

🌟 Horse of the Year Highlight: Bubba 🌟

Meet Bubba: a cucumber-loving gentle giantπŸ₯’

A Tennessee Walker born in 2003, this lovely bay gelding joined the Miracles in Motion herd in 2021. Before becoming a therapy horse, Bubba was used for hunting trials. Since arriving at Miracles, Bubba has been in our adaptive riding classes before retiring last year into our horsemanship, veterans, and mental health programming.

Bubba is a beloved member of our ground programs and is especially a favorite of our veterans and mental health clients. His calm demeanor and steady presence puts everyone he meets at ease.

Kristin Beatty shares:
β€œMany people may not know Bubba since he’s retired from riding, but he’s a valuable member of our herd. He is a kind and gentle boy who loves people and enjoys working with our ground programs.”

Bubba is an invaluable part of our therapy horse herd. Our volunteers, participants, and community love him very much!

🐎 Show Bubba some love by voting for him as Horse of the Year with a donation that supports his wellbeing and the care of the entire herd:
