"Days go by, I can feel 'em flyin' like a hand out the window in the wind..." ❤️‍🩹 Mine and Todd's first concert together was a Keith Urban concert. We lived by these words and I still want to live by these words.

I've neglected returning some texts and calls recently (actual connection with humans) and I've wasting enough time scrolling here. I am done. Time to take my time back.

Love to all and best wishes! "We talk about tomorrow, then it slips away... we talk about forever but we've only got today." I'm seizing my todays, and seizing doesn't include time on social media.

That so many people walk around with broken hearts often surprises me.🤍
In the last 2 weeks I sat with neighbors who had both lost spouses earlier in marriage than expected. 🤍
Last week my best friend lost her mother.
In the past week I met a woman who's father passed unexpectedly the same month as Todd this year, and in the same day I met another young widow and was blessed by her story and understanding of loss.🤍
It is so important to be gentle with one another, giving others and ourselves grace for the times that we are not or that it is hard. Profound loss will happen to all of us eventually. My neighbors said it best, "it's a terrible club, but if you're here you're not alone, and that's good."
Thank you to the souls who sit with me, who stay beside me, and who are gentle with me. You bring so much goodness to this shattered world.
I see you.🕯️🙏🤍
