Thanks to everyone who came and bought hotdogs today! We had a very successful day. And a very special thank you to our wonderful sponsors Slow Smoke BBQ, now in Genoa at the Warehouse on Park, and Insomnia Cookies in downtown DeKalb. All our customers were thrilled with their meals!

Here's the best lunch in town this Friday! Thanks to Slow Smoke and Insomnia Cookies for their support!

Another way of supporting the clients of DeKalb County Treatment Courts is coming soon!

We've had a busy and fulfilling 2024 by providing a new roof and siding for the Sober Living House and garage, improving the landscaping, installing new flooring upstairs and gaining a welcome donation of a washer and dryer and two bikes for the residents. We also provide each incoming treatment court client with a backpack of essential toiletries, and make available scholarships to help with job training and temporary housing allowance to allow residents to remain in the House longer. In 2025 we hope to further improve landscaping of the property and safety issues with the House. In the near future we have resolved to aid in the support of a therapy dog for all the Treatment Court clients. More news on that as we move through that process.

Please think of us on May 1 with Give DeKalb County.

3 of our board members and Treatment Court Coordinator Mike Douglas attended the annual Sycamore Chamber of Commerce meeting yesterday. We were there to make sure that Treatment Court and its clients are never overlooked by our community.
