Community Day Services celebrated Valentine’s Day today and it was full of fun, laughter, and creativity! Clients enjoyed crafts, cookie decorating, karaoke, and some temporary tattoos to get into the festive spirit. 💘

The highlight of the day? Our clients voted on which staff members they wanted to see get pied in the face - and 10 brave staff stepped up to the challenge! Thank you to everyone who helped make today such a joyful and memorable celebration, especially the offices of Senator Dave Syverson and State Representative Jeff Keicher who donated hand-made valentines for our clients and made them feel extra loved!

We are honored and thrilled to share that Opportunity House has been awarded the Nonprofit of the Year Award by the Genoa Area Chamber of Commerce at their 69th Annual Meeting & Awards Dinner on Wednesday, February 11, 2026!

This recognition celebrates 60+ years of service empowering adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to lead happy, healthy, and productive lives through inclusive housing, employment, recreation, and community engagement opportunities.
