Ginger Rose Doula (Previously Ginger Rose Herbal) is a one mama business operating out of Sylva, NC. It was started back in Spring of 2012, but it is just now beginning to grow. I offer various services including Doula care for Birth and Postpartum, as well as bereavement Services, etc. I am all about honoring the family as they make their journey into parenthood, whether it be for the first time or the fifth.

After a little bit of a set back due to Covid-19 I am opening up my books for encapsulation appointments starting this July and beyond! As we move forward I will start opening up more services, but for now I will be focusing on services that do not require direct or close contact. My Story

My name is Myriam and I am a mother of three (two living) with a background in Human Services. I have completed various doula specific training’s and certifications including the Sacred Pregnancy Instructor & Mother Roaster programs and DONA’s Birth Doula training. I am also a member of the National Home Funeral Alliance and am working towards my bereavement doula certifications. I am passionate about all outcomes in the birthing journey and hope to be able to hold space in any environment. My current focus is on Postpartum wellness.

Outside of my work as a Postpartum Doula, I am currently pursuing my Bachelors in Human Services as I work towards my eventual goal of becoming a Licensed Clinical Counselor. I also run a mini farm and am a Beekeeper.

My business is named after my first daughter, Lyla Ginger Rose Brannen, who passed away on March 13 of 2011. I hope to honor her in all of my work.
