Optim Medical Center–Tattnall recently welcomed 25 Tattnall County High School seniors exploring careers in healthcare. Students heard from a team members from administration to anesthesiology, nursing, surgery, therapy, imaging, lab, and maintenance who shared their career paths and insights.

The visit gave students a behind-the-scenes look at hospital operations and the many rewarding careers available in healthcare - many beginning with a technical degree.

Roxy has been named HomeTown Health’s 2025 Nurse Executive of the Year - an incredible recognition of her leadership, commitment to education, and dedication to high-quality, compassionate care.

Presented during the HomeTown Health 26th Annual Fall Conference at Callaway Gardens, this award honors nurse leaders who positively impact rural healthcare in Georgia through innovation, excellence, and a focus on both patients and staff.
