Hi Everyone!!

I know it’s been way too long since I’ve been present on here. However, I’ve been busy giving my time to 1:1 clients.

That being said I’ve been brainstorming how I can help more people at once. I’ve decided to team up with another functional medicine coach and we are creating a group program. It’s going to be packed with amazing info and you will get the support of two practitioners. The program will include information you can use for a lifetime and always go back to when you get off track in life.

We plan to address:
-Nutrition
-Improving sleep/Insomnia
-IBS, bloating, constipation (remember if you aren’t going 1-3 times a day that’s constipation)
-Managing stress and anxiety.

** the added bonus is weight loss from all these changes. In case that’s something you are looking for.

I know going low-tox or non-tox in your home and lifestyle can be both overwhelming and pricey at first. That’s why I find Black Friday to be the perfect time to stock up! It is also a great time to splurge a little and get that wellness item you have really been wanting to add to your healing toolbox.

To make shopping a little easier I decided to put everything I love in one place this year. I love supporting these companies because they too care about your health. Plus I love that most of these companies are just small business as well.

Please know I also appreciate you supporting my business and I am beyond excited that you are deciding to add some healthier items to your lifestyle. That is really the main reason I love to share. I really want you all to have options that will help in your healing like they did for me.

Every single one of us is different. That means one dis-ease dynamic might present differently from one person to the next.

Your health care provider should always look at you as a whole person to get to the root of your dis-ease. You should not be looked at through the lens of “what disease does this person have”.

You are not a disease. You are a person with something going on and that something has a root cause solution.

Healing my gut felt like the longest journey.

It wasn’t until I learned more on my own and addressed low stomach acid and stress that I finally felt my gut really began to heal.

My symptoms finally started to subside and I noticed the benefits in many different areas of my body.

Less bloating, my long list of food sensitivities disappearing, no more debilitating menstrual cramps, new hair growth, nails growing so fast I can’t keep up, better energy, less body pain and the list goes on.

Most of these signs of low stomach acid are deemed normal but I’m here to tell you, they are NOT normal. They are just common.

You can heal and you don’t have to live with these symptoms forever.

Keep moving forward

Keep stepping out of line

I’m not sure who needs to hear this but 👇🏼

Don’t let others lack of understanding of the new foods your choosing or the new mindset your adapting to stop you from moving forward.

Your healing process doesn’t have to make sense to anyone. It just has to make sense to you.

When I first started changing my lifestyle to improve my chronic health issues I got a lot of push back. I got a lot of eye rolls. I got a lot of “oh just eat what’s here and get over it”, “don’t you need to lose weight why are you on a diet”, “your going to make people feel uncomfortable if you don’t eat what’s there” or “using those products isn’t going to kill you”,

So many times I want to say no it won’t kill me today but it’s all slowly destroying my life and my health and now I’m just way more aware. I’m not on a diet it’s called a lifestyle. I’m not trying to lose weight I’m trying to heal my pain, my inflammation, my anxiety and my body!

I’m about 17+ years in this healing journey and I still get all the comments and the eye rolls. It’s unfortunate that what society says is normal isn’t normal. So when you step outside of “the normal” you tend to get a lot of push back. You tend to trigger other people’s comfort zones just by being you.

Don’t let any of it stop you. Keep looking for your tribe and know that other people’s lack of understanding doesn’t mean you are on the wrong path. Most the time it means your right where you should be.

Are you holding space for yourself and honoring your emotions?

Sometimes LIFE happens and we experience emotions like anxiety and depression. This is normal and it doesn’t mean you are broken! So often these feelings are looked at as wrong and that there is something wrong with the body.

Feeling these emotional responses sometimes is very common because we are humans and life is happening. If these feelings are chronic and don’t resolve there may be something deeper root causes and this is what I love to explore for my clients.

What’s important during times of experiencing these feelings is that you honor them and hold space for yourself to really feel why these emotions are surfacing. Instead of thinking something is wrong with you and being afraid to admit you’re having these feelings ask what you can do for yourself to honor your body/mind.

Do you need to just stop and take a few deep breaths?

Do you need a hug?

Do you need a day of laughter and friend time?

Do you need to sit in isolation with your own thoughts and just process how you are really doing?

Are you even giving yourself moments in the day to have a few minutes of quiet time?

Do you need a long walk in nature?

Do I need a nap?

So ask yourself...Am I holding space for myself and really taking care of me?
