Phoebe is aware that possible con artists are “spoofing” Phoebe’s main phone number in an effort to get people to share personal information over the phone. The callers claim they are from Phoebe, and the number that shows up on caller ID is an actual Phoebe phone number. Please be aware that Phoebe will not cold call random members of the community. If we do have a reason to call our patients, we may ask you to confirm your name and date of birth, but we would never ask for your social security number or personal financial information over the phone. Any caller who does so is not a legitimate representative of Phoebe.
