Many of you have already met my best friends on the farm. For those who haven’t, allow me to introduce you to the biggest personalities & the best stress relievers, my donkey family members. Make sure to check out each photo to learn more about my buddies!
Fun facts:
Donkeys are not stubborn… they are HIGHLY intelligent. They think & figure & weigh their options before making a cautious decision. They teach us patience on the daily. 😂
You can never have just one. Donkeys must have another donkey to roam about with. If not, they can become severely depressed & can die of heartache. 🥺 They form deep bonds, usually have a bestie, and will grieve if there is loss.
Donkeys never forget. They remember who is kind, who is mean, know who to trust and who not to… meaning they love the farrier (the guy that gives them “pedicures”) & hate the vet. 😂
Donkeys are VERY protective. They are a wonderful guard against coyotes, but beware… they do not see any difference in a dog or a coyote and will treat them the same. 😳
A donkey’s bray can be heard up to 3 miles away! If you get the chance to hear them call when you come for a visit, you will feel it in your soul. 😆
Their beautiful ears move in all directions and allow them to hear up to 60 miles away. There is definitely no sneaking around them!
Donkeys come in different shapes, sizes, & colors. We have 2 standard, and 4 minis.
All have the cross marking on their back. They grow extra hair in the winter, shed it in the summer, and roll in the mud or dust to help keep the flies off.
And finally…. Nothing will steal your heart like this bunch. ❤️

Hi all! I’ve been spending less time on social media ☠️ and more time in nature 🌳 🌼 over the last couple of weeks as I’ve been setting up the practice at the farm. 🫏 🐮 🦚 🐓 🐐 🐑 🪿 🦃 💕 Working from home is such a blessing, and I’m so grateful 🙏🏼 to all of you who have scheduled your 💆🏼‍♀️ ✨ appointments all through the ☀️ summer already! One client said “Girl I’d follow you to the moon 🌙 so just send me your address.” 🤣 My clients are seriously the BEST! 🙌🏼
If you are a regular recurring monthly client and have NOT scheduled your sessions though July, please send me a text & let me know. I think I have everyone that has responded to my messages in the calendar…but the last month has been such a whirlwind, I easily could have missed something! 🤪
If you have a gift certificate, PLEASE send me a text 270-559-5203 📱 so we can get you on the calendar. 🗓️ I’m about to start reaching out to folks on the waitlist 📝 to fill the few remaining spots I have left between now & end of July 🍉 🧨.
The new location is still a bit of a work in progress as I wrap up some final projects and finishing touches, but I’ll be back here to introduce you to my favorite farm friends this weekend. A few lucky clients have already met them & fell in love just as much as I am. 💗 🫏 In the mean time, here are a few photos from the last couple of weeks.

Hi! My name is Pebbles. I’m a Zebu heifer calf. Right now I’m separated from the others (for my safety) in my own mini pasture while I grow… which may be a little longer because I am the slowest growing breed of cow. I am loving my best friend Milo already though. 🥰 I may be tiny, but I am mighty! You should have seen mom and dad trying to put a coat on me this winter! I don’t know why they complain. I’m just trying to keep them in shape. 🙄
Anyway, enough about me. My human sister, Suzanne, is super overwhelmed with responsibilities right now, so I’m helping out with her socials today! While she is busy unpacking & getting settled in, I am super excited to share…. She has officially MOOOOved her practice out of Paducah and onto the farm! Now I get to see her anytime I want! Oooh… I wonder if she’ll give me some Reiki today. It’s my favorite! And I’m definitely looking forward to meeting all of you when you come to visit, but I may be a little shy at first while I’m making sure you are safe.
Suzanne told me to tell you she is starting to see clients this week, so she’ll be reaching out to all of her regular recurring clients over the next few days to get ya’ll scheduled for the remainder of April, and also your spots for the summer months. Sister appreciates your patience as she is navigating all the new exciting changes.
Well… it’s almost feeding time so I gotta run and let momma in the door. Have a wonderful day and see you soon! 💕 🐮 💆🏼‍♀️

Time for Milo’s Mindful Minute! 🐮 Milo is our 2 year old “Mini” Highland. He is a steer (a neutered male cow), but truly is more like a 1500 lb pasture puppy. 💕 He loves to be brushed (video in the comments) & will exchange kisses for treats. 💋 He is usually pretty chill, grazing in the pasture & relaxing in the shade. 😌 Don’t let him fool you though…He is surprisingly fast, running at speeds of up to 25 mph when he gets the zoomies. 😳Although he loves the company of his humans & is VERY friendly, he does get a little (ok a lot) excited, often jumping in the air & tossing his head (binkies) when he sees someone he loves. ☺️ Because has no respect for personal space, and even less spatial awareness of his horns, it’s best to give him loves on the outside of the fence for safety 😂. Speaking of his horns, did you know they are vital in keeping him cool in the summer? Milo’s horns, which are filled with blood vessels & linked to the sinus cavity, dissipate excess heat. Oh and for those who are wondering, he is not the only cow here… He has a sweet sassy little friend named Pebbles, who I’ll introduce you to later this week. 🥰

Sunday funday! And what’s more fun than a couple of roly-poly teddy bears? Meet Honeycomb & SugarBear, our Babydoll Sheep. These boys are absolute best friends. You never see one without the other! Right now they are pretty wooly, but it won’t be long before it’s time for shearing to keep them nice & cool in the summer heat (see the last photos for their post haircut looks last year 😂)
Babydoll sheep 🐑 can be traced back to the 1800s in England. They can be white or off white… or they may have the recessive gene that makes them black, like ours! The sun ☀️ lightens their wool to a beautiful reddish brown.
Their fleece is springy and soft, and is full of lanolin. When processed, it’s as soft as cashmere 🧣 😍 🧶
Babydoll sheep are smaller than other breeds. They are generally sweet & docile, but they do take time to warm up to strangers.
When you come for a visit, it’s impossible to not fall in love with these guys. 💕

Our fabulous flock of fowl family here on the farm wishes you a fantastic Friday! These are just a few of the (mostly) friendly (& always funny) faces one may encounter here.
Did you know there are more chickens on earth than there are humans? 🐓 💕
They truly are the closest living relatives to the 🦖T-Rex! And they can run 9-10 mph without ever breaking a sweat… 🏃‍♀️
Chickens can recognize up to 100 different faces, and make friends. They can also grieve. 🥺
They have dreams when they sleep 😴
Chickens can see more colors than humans 🤓 and use the sun to navigate 🧭.
My favorite breed? Polish and Silkies. 😍
*side note* these guys & gals are pets! No one here ever ends up on our dining room table. 🤗

It’s Silly Goose Saturday! 🪿 While everyone else is on the “Porch Goose” train, we have real ones here on the farm. Meet Wi******er and his lady friends, Thelma & Louise. They are Chinese geese, of the white-feathered, blue-eyed variety. Of all the creatures great & small, these are the only ones that really strike fear into my heart 😂 They love & adore my folks (Wi******er loves momma hugs) and they are a little territorial about it. 🙄 However, they can also be SUPER funny. (Ask me about the time I was teasing him a bit through the fence, and he pretty much put me in my place… right on my butt…And sauntered off towards the ladies “laughing” about defeating the dumb human. To be fair, I deserved it & was laughing too 😂.)

Did you know geese mate for life (even if they are polyamorous) & are loyal and protective of their families? They love to talk…all at once…and are very loud. They are full of character & personality!
Female geese are just called geese (or other unpleasant names if they are after me), but males are called ganders. And a group is called a gaggle.
Geese are vegetarians and prefer to graze on grass, weeds, and plants.
Geese generally sleep on the ground in a nest in a shelter, and prefer to mate in the water.
Goose eggs are 2-3 times the size of the average chicken egg (ouch, 😣 no wonder they can be cranky), and are richer and more nutrient dense. Plus they have thicker shells with a longer shelf life. (So yummy 🤤) Ours typically lay in the late winter & into spring.
Chinese geese are descendants of the wild swan goose, hence their long snake-like neck. The protrusion (k**b) on their forehead is a sign of fertility and grows as the geese mature 😳
They have waterproof feathers due to their preen gland, which secretes oil that they rub onto their bill and lather onto their feathers as they groom.
They do have wings & an impressive wingspan (that REALLY hurt if they hit you with them), but they don’t fly more than a few feet at a time, and only a couple inches off the ground. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Their lifespan is up to 20 years, meaning lots of wonderful opportunities to be mischievous. 🪿 💗

It’s almost Springtime, and that means some of the animals here are a little, as Bambi would put it, “twitterpated.” One of the best things about mating season is the beautiful dance of the peacocks 🦚 😍
Thanks to my mom for this quick video of Socrates “train rattling” to impress one of the females (peahen). Ladies, when is the last time a man impressed you as much as this guy does? 😂 Here are some fun facts about our handsome little crew (also known as a muster, bevy, or ostentation).

At the end of every mating season, a peacock will naturally shed his feathers & regrow them longer & fuller for the next mating season. They reach peak vibrancy around age six. Never ever pull a peacock’s tail feathers…just wait & they will leave them for you to pick up & enjoy later. 🥰 You may have noticed I have them throughout my practice. The eyes of peacock feathers have been said to favor an angel in its true form, and are thought to carry protective energetic qualities throughout various cultures.
Females are not as vibrant, nor do they have long tails that fan, but the crests on their heads act as important sensors where they actually feel subtle vibrations (like the ones created by the dance of their suitors).
Both male & females make a variety of sounds & calls (very loudly, might I add), and they CAN fly!

If you come for a visit, one of these handsome fellas is sure to welcome you. 😊 See the comments for more pics and video 😆
