Articulation errors vs. phonological errors — what’s the difference and why does it matter? 🧠💬

Articulation errors happen when a child has trouble physically producing certain sounds (like saying “wabbit” instead of “rabbit”).

Phonological errors involve patterns of sound mistakes (like saying “tat” for “cat”) that follow a rule in their mind.
