The therapists at LIIST are experts in the field of s*xology. We utilize our therapeutic training to assist you in reaching new solutions and working toward your goals. We assist individuals coping with s*xual functioning issues (such as erectile dysfunction and lack of or***ms), depression, anxiety, gender identity, s*xual orientation, and relationship skills for young adults. I can't find the photos of me with Dr. Ruth a bazillion years ago. We both looked so different and yet so similar. She was wise and knew how to say what she meant. Somewhere I have the voice recordings from a great conversation. Somewhere I have her voicemail from a few years ago telling me she didn't know much about s*x addiction. Somewhere I have the number for her favorite kosher chicken spot near her home. My Sicilian grandfather, who is also in his mid to late 90s always calls me "Dr. Ruth" with his best imitation of her, beaming with pride for the career I've built. 96 years is a wild ride to witness this Earth. As she would say, good s*x helps you live a good long life.

Another delight of this conference was seeing students and fellow grads from in person. Many of my students had never seen me in person, so "omg, Dr. T, you're so short!" was something I got to hear a more than a few times. 🤣 This pic is with Debbie who was my very first research student. I also had lunch with her and Stacey, my second ever research student. They each single-handedly have made my research possible. I am forever grateful to them. And they are also wonderful human beings who I'm honored to know more about as they years unfold.

Celebration time!

Drs. Jane Fleishman, Jayleen Galarza, Sabitha Pillai-Friedman, and Rosara Torrisi won the AASECT Amplifying Voices Podcast Award for their fantastic work on Our Better Half!
