Today I am celebrating vulnerability. In a time where we may feel separated and alone, we can come together by allowing ourselves to be vulnerable.
🦋Vulnerability may seem scary, yet vulnerability leads to FREEDOM!
In what ways are you overprotecting yourself? In what ways are you hiding? What are you hiding from?
🦋Being vulnerable with yourself allows you to see into the depths of who you truly are. If you are feeling stuck, or wanting a change in your life... be vulnerable. It means being bluntly honest with yourself about how you feel about something, and if your needs are being met. And that might mean being honest with people around you as well.
🦋I share with you a piece of my own vulnerability from my personal journal. This was a day I gained a deeper awareness of how I allowed others' opinions to override my own. I hope this inspires reflection for you as well.
"I forgive myself. That is all I have. I am all that I have. No one else can tell me who to be, what to be, what to do. I can only rely on myself. This is my life. This is my story. And in my story I am in charge. I make the decisions. If I am not leading, then I am astray. I lead my life... �No one else is my story."
