💜 Community Support Needed💜

We are reaching out to our amazing community to support a dedicated woman who has been part of House of Psalms 23 who is growing through our Peer Mentor program. Our participant's daughter who is an incredible senior is preparing to graduate from Syracuse City high school 🎓this spring all while caring for her 7-month-old baby. As a full-time mom, student, volunteer for HOP 23 she still finds time to be actively engaged in the US military reserves through her school.

With prom approaching on May 8th, 2026, we are looking for a few kind-hearted individuals willing to donate services or items to help make her night special:

✨ Needs:

* Seamstress to tailor her prom dress
* Prom ticket: $75
* Senior dues: $125
* Wig install (wig will be provided by House of Psalms 23)
* Makeup artist for prom & senior photos
* Shoes for senior photos & prom

Big shoutout to Nottingham High School and Ta’Quell Morris, Ed.D for hosting an amazing Career Fair! 🙌 House of Psalms 23 was proud to be on site with our lead Jennifer Oxendine and our newest team member, Tiffany Howington, truly set the bar high for 2026. We connected with so many incredible students, with our highest youth volunteer interest yet! 💜 Thank you for the warm welcome this is what community looks like, and we love what we do always with a smile 😊

Narcan at Noon is a Naloxone (Narcan) training and certification conducted by our State Opioid Response Coordinator. We host these virtual trainings every Monday at noon (excluding national holidays).

Today our Peer Mentors and staff kicked off Week 1 of a 5-week series in partnership SUNY EOC Attain Lab preparing for our Digital Literacy Lab launching in April 2026. 💻✨ Thanks Codi!! These last few months of developing this program and relationship have been so rewarding.

We’re excited to stand alongside these women as they build skills, grow in confidence, and prepare to give back by supporting new participants in Women Empowerment.

This is just the beginning. Looking good ladies, keep going! 👏🏾💛
