It's Mental Health Awareness Month! Today, we at Atlas Counseling, want to provide you with a quick and simple tool that you can utilize to assist with anxiety symptoms. Box breathing, or the 4-4-4-4 breathing technique, can be utilized to quickly improve your anxiety symptoms; this technique consists of inhaling through your nose for four seconds, holding that breath for four seconds, exhaling through your mouth for four seconds, and holding that breath for four seconds.
