Please talk to your pediatrician or OB. Tylenol is safe to use in pregnancy. Tylenol nor vaccines cause autism. Listen to the science please!

Acetaminophen is an over-the-counter medicine used to reduce fevers and relieve pain. It is sold under many brand names, including Tylenol.

Decades of research have found that acetaminophen is safe for children when administered as recommended. Misleading claims link the medicine to autism. These false claims send a confusing, dangerous message to parents and expectant parents and does a disservice to autistic individuals. Read more at the link below.

EXPANDED LEAD PRODUCT ALERT – Several brands of ground cinnamon powders and spice blends have been found to contain high lead levels, posing a possible health risk. The products contain lead levels above 1 part per million (ppm), a level that New York State uses to indicate products that should be recalled. Customers who purchased these products are advised to immediately stop using them and to throw them away.

If your child has eaten food containing any of these products, consider having them tested for an elevated blood lead level. Children are particularly vulnerable to lead poisoning, which can cause permanent damage to the nervous system. This can result in learning disorders, developmental delays, and other long-term health problems.

For more information about blood lead testing, contact your child’s healthcare provider. If your child does not have a healthcare provider or if you have other questions, contact us at LeadFreeKids@ongov.net or call (315) 435-3271.
