Hello, new followers and clients! I'm Savannah Yount, a massage therapist of 11 years at only the age of 31! I specialize in Sports Massage and Deep Tissue techniques, but can also provide an amazingly relaxing massage for those who want to drift off into space. 🌌

I am a lover of all things dark, mysterious, and strange. You can find me spending time with my friends, getting tattoos, enjoying the company of cats, constantly changing my hair style, or making social media content. I love traveling to either the beach in any state or the mountains of North Carolina. I'm always looking for good food and drink to enjoy, supporting local businesses no matter where I am. I am also looking forward to making homemade meals more often, as this is a creative outlet I wish to jump back into.

⚠️ Trigger Warning; weight loss⚠️

I have had many (women) clients come in over the years who have struggled with physical pain. Some of it was mysterious pain. Their doctors didn't listen or take them seriously, telling them to lose weight and then practically shove them out the door. Losing weight, when done responsibly, can be helpful for reducing pain. However, there could be other culprits out there! Examine all of the possibilities. Find a doctor who will listen and be willing to perform tests. You are not alone.

In light of many families currently facing food insecurity, I am asking my wonderful followers and clients to help me feed my new community of Goshen, Indiana. Donations can be dropped off at Rich Beauty Parlor or in my office at the time of your massage appointment. Additional donation ideas are pancake mix, microwave popcorn, protein powder, spaghetti noodles, pasta sauce, and bottled water. Thank you for giving families hope this holiday season!

In old school massage therapy ethics, they taught us that makeup is discouraged from being worn. This was due to the belief that your looks could "set the wrong intentions" for the massage. While I think that proper attire can save massage therapists the headache of unsavory clients, I would argue that if a client, co worker, or someone on the internet gets "turned on" by a massage therapist's 🫱makeup expression🫲, then maybe it has more to do with that person and their inner thoughts. Now, there are some looks that I save for another day when I'm not in the office, as these makeup looks are dramatic and appeal to a certain aesthetic. But thankfully, I have not run into any problems at work with my makeup expression.
