In Loving Memory of Charlie
September 25, 2020 – October 7, 2025

Charlie, a beloved Doberman and gentle giant, passed away on October 7, 2025, after an almost year-long battle with illness of unknown cause. He was 5 years old.

From the moment his family met him—a big puppy with even bigger paws and the sweetest floppy ears—they knew he was meant to be theirs. Charlie quickly grew into his paws and into the hearts of everyone around him. At 110 pounds, he was a true couch potato and cuddle bug, proving that the biggest dogs often have the softest souls.

Charlie found joy in life’s simple moments—sleeping, being covered up in blankets, cuddling with his family, running outside, and sunbathing in warm rays. His favorite treat was whatever his family happened to be eating; with his amber puppy eyes, he always knew how to ask for a bite. He loved his stuffed octopus, tennis balls, and even big rocks he’d proudly carry around.

He had a special way of making everyone laugh—walking between legs despite his size, wiggling with excitement whenever his butt was patted, and squeezing himself into compact “snuggle mode” just to be close. He’d play fetch but never bring the ball back, make a high-pitched “tea time” whistle when he wanted to go out, and was known for his “drive-by snack steals” thanks to his tall stature. His adorable lip often got stuck on his little lower teeth, making his family smile every time.

Charlie shared many adventures—walking trails, exploring the outdoors, and even helping announce the pregnancy of his human baby brother. He was loyal, affectionate, and full of personality. His kisses, curious snack eyes, and gentle presence filled the home with warmth and laughter.

Charlie meant the world to his family. Despite every effort and specialist visit, his illness could not be cured. His loss has left a deep void in their hearts, but his memory will forever bring comfort and smiles. There will always be a “tea time” in their hearts for him.

Charlie is deeply loved and missed by his family:
Dad, Zach; Mom, Brittney; siblings Alixzandra, Marley, Rebel, Royal, and Fox; and fur siblings Harvey, Kennedy, and Zombie.

Titus Funeral Home & Cremation Services is honored to care for the family of Charlie.
