Last drop-in of the semester had a holiday red & green theme! Mixed matcha powder into some no bake energy bites, and used tart cherry juice to make a tropical smoothie with pineapple, coconut milk, yogurt, and protein powder. It turned out more pink than red, but you could also use beetroot juice instead and it would definitely be red!

Treated several teams to our November sports nutrition samples .

First up were "daytime Jello shots" made with tart cherry juice and plain gelatin. There were some skeptics but I sold them on the anti-inflammatory and sleep benefits!

Next was a kid-favorite - Muddy Buddies - following the recipe on the back of Chex cereal plus 1 cup of protein powder. I always opt for a third party tested brand like 🙂

Both recipes are easy to make a big batch of at once with limited kitchen equipment. Win win!

First time quoted in ! Happy to contribute my thoughts on the protein craze.

Great first session about women's wellness through the menopause transition. Such a great message about focusing on your BMW: bones, muscle, and weight.

Key takeaways:
- Get adequate calcium to protect bone health. Dairy foods are your best option.
- Make an effort to hit your protein needs (which may be higher than you think). Aim for around 25 grams at meals and 15 grams for snacks.
- Don't be afraid to lift heavy weights! Strength training has benefits on muscle health and overall physiology.

Thanks & Katie Brown for sharing your own stories along with your knowledge!!
