Hey so the real data & research is YOUR BODY!
Data and recommendations can only take us so far when the majority of what makes up published research, data and general guidelines is currently funded by food and medication companies that has a drive for profit that is dependent on people being sick and not in control of their own health.
If you feel well, you don’t require regular use of medication, your period is a pleasant experience both before and during, your period comes regularly, you experience natural energy and focus, you have energy to move your body and enjoy the day, you sleep though the night mostly and wake up feeling rested, you have clear glowing skin and hair, it feels natural to maintain your optimal body weight, you feel good when you eat and don’t have constant bloating and discomfort with food, easy regular bowel movements, you’re not sick all the time… (This is health! This is normal)
…then your lifestyle, diet and mindset IS working for you!!
If you feel chronically fatigued and foggy headed, you require regular use of either prescribed or otc medications, your period is miserable, painful and all over the place, you wanna punch a wall the week before you get your period, you can’t fall asleep at night &/or wake through the night and always wake up feeling like you just want to keep sleeping, you have acne, rashes and inflamed skin, you can’t lose or gain weight no matter what you do or eat, you have bloating and discomfort with eating, constipation & diarrhea, you’re under the weather constantly…

Your own body is the most potent and valuable source of information that you have. If the RDA says low fat, artificially sweetened low calorie yogurt is better, but you feel better when you eat full fat yogurt sweetened with real honey…. What’s more valuable info? The information that came through your body? Or what the what the RDA recommends?
