Upstate clinicians are sharing their expertise across the globe 🌍

Pediatric nurse practitioner Brooke Fraser and nurse Gail Nolan recently traveled to Kenya to work with hospital staff on pediatric oncology training. Their visit focused on improving procedures, supporting local nurses and advancing care for young patients.

“I think it's important for people to know that we can cure pediatric oncology patients in low- and middle-income countries,” Fraser said. “That goal is attainable, but it takes people willing to help make it possible. I'm proud to be one of those people.”
