Join us as we come together as a community to support the people and professionals who make the inclusive services we offer possible.

On Friday, February 27 at 10:00 AM, AccessCNY and Arc of Onondaga are hosting an Invest in Us Rally to highlight the urgent need for increased pay for Direct Support Professionals. These professionals provide essential, life-changing support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Central New York. Without them, our mission would not be possible.

We’ll hear directly from individuals receiving services, family members, and DSPs about why sustained funding matters—for dignity, stability, and long-term success.

The following AccessCNY programs are being impacted by the current conditions:

-Clinic services at our Court Street location are cancelled from 8a-10a

-Consumer Directed Personal Services is operating remotely today and will not have staff available for in person visits. Call 315-410-3391 for assistance

-The David Clark Learning Center is closed for today

Caregiving can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone.

Join Karen and AccessCNY for a supportive space designed for parents and caregivers of youth ages 0–21 with developmental, intellectual, and/or mental health needs. This group is all about connection, shared experiences, and encouragement whether you join us virtually or in person.

🖌️In February AccessCNY will host an Art Therapy Group for adults with disabilities.

AccessCNY is creating a safe, supportive space for adults with OPWDD waiver eligibility to express themselves artistically to promote healing. Guided by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, participants will explore their feelings through drawing, painting, and other creative mediums.

Art therapy promotes emotional expression, stress relief, improved mental health, and enhanced self-awareness.

Classes will be held every Wednesdays in February from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 1603 Court St. Syracuse.
