Happy Fibonacci Day!
Fibonacci Day: What is the Fibonacci sequence? Why is it ...Fibonacci Day is celebrated on November 23rd because the date (11/23) forms the first four numbers of the Fibonacci sequence: 1, 1, 2, 3.
Fibonacci Day celebrates this important mathematician and gives us an opportunity to marvel at the way math pervades everything around us. The Fibonacci sequence can be used to calculate the proportions of countless things on Earth and beyond, such as animals, plants, the human body, weather patterns, and even galaxies.

Today, Syracuse Sole Steppers celebrated its Anniversary. Karen Harrison brought GirlTREK: Healthy Black Women and Girls to the Women of Pearls eight years ago (thank you, Karen!)
Simone Gonyea from the Onondaga Nation met us at Green Lakes State Park, where she lovingly taught us about indigenous plants and her language honored that Sacred Space. After the hike, we broke bread and shared.
Thank you, Simone

The average emergency room visit in Syracuse is over 6 hours. With the new cuts coming, whether you're on Medicaid or not, it will get worse.

No matter what kind of insurance you use, Syracuse hospitals expect Medicaid cuts to impact everyone.
