Tabor Manor Care Center is a unique family-owned skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in beautiful Tabor, Iowa. We are proud to have been serving our community for nearly 40 years. We provide our residents with a homelike environment, good care, and rehabilitation. Our own loved ones are here at the healthcare facility, so we give everyone the kind of care we want our own family to experience. The moment you come through the front door, you’ll feel comfortable with our welcoming staff. You’ll discover an atmosphere of caring from the lovely interiors to the friendly residents and staff. This warm hospitality is the tradition upon which our reputation was built. Moving into a new environment can be both exciting and unsettling. Here at Tabor Manor, our team of professionals are available to assist you during your transition. You family’s quality of life and peace of mind are important to us. While some residents want solitude and reflection, others desire companionship and a desire to be as active as possible. Our staff supports their individual choice while striving to bring out their personal best.

🍀 Lucky to celebrate together! 🍀

Our residents and staff had a wonderful time celebrating St. Patrick’s Day filled with laughter, festive fun, and a whole lot of green! From cheerful decorations to sweet treats and good company, it was a day full of smiles and special moments. 💚

We’re so grateful for the joy and community we share every day—today just had a little extra Irish charm! ☘️✨

The fun just keeps rolling! 🎉✨

After celebrating Chinese New Year and Mardi Gras, the past two days have been just as exciting!

🎶 We enjoyed live music that had toes tapping, hands clapping, and a few residents singing right along. There’s nothing like music to bring everyone together and fill the room with joy!

🌈 Then we got a little groovy with our create-your-own lava lamp activity! Residents loved watching the colorful bubbles swirl and rise — part science experiment, part art project, and 100% fun.

Today our residents traveled from China to New Orleans without ever leaving the building!

✨ We celebrated Chinese New Year with creative crafts and researched our individual Chinese zodiac signs — we discovered some proud Dragons and clever Rabbits in the house! 🐲🐰

🎭 Then it was time to let the good times roll with a Mardi Gras party complete with delicious beignets, cake, and a lively Mardi Gras trivia game that brought out everyone’s competitive spirit!

Culture, creativity, sweet treats, and LOTS of laughs all in one day — and we’re just getting started! Stay tuned for more fun ahead!

Our week of celebration is just getting started! 💜💛💚

We’re kicking things off with a fun blend of Mardi Gras festivities and Chinese New Year traditions—bringing lots of color, culture, and joy to our halls.

Today’s highlight? Henna tattoos! Residents had so much fun picking out their designs and showing off their beautiful artwork. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the week brings! 🎭✨

Love was in the air at our Valentine’s Day celebration! 💕

Our residents enjoyed an afternoon filled with sweet treats, laughter, music, and plenty of heart-filled fun. The highlight of the day was proudly crowning our Valentine’s Day King & Queen 👑 — two very special residents who truly embody kindness, friendship, and joy within our community.

Thank you to our wonderful staff for making it such a heartwarming day ❤️

Just a peek at our week: Science with Seniors kept minds busy 🧪, an unexpected twinsie moment with our maintenance man and a resident made us laugh 👕😄, and pneumonia vaccines were given to keep everyone strong and healthy. The perfect mix of fun and care!

We rang in the New Year with a Noon-Year’s Eve party, and now we’ve added a new member to the fun — our porch goose, Honk, who’s been keeping us entertained nonstop! 🪿🎊

So grateful to everyone who made our Christmas party so special.
