CAMPAIGN AGAINST SEXUAL ABUSE AND HARASSMENT
One of the principal goals of DNFOUNDATION is to EMPOWER WOMEN BY LIBERATING THEM FROM GENDER BASED VIOLENCE AND ABUSE.
It breaks my heart 💔 to see some of our mothers and sisters go through all these forms of abuse/violence:
1. Domestic violence.
2. Family violence.
3. Sexual violence and harassment. (Coercing or attempting to coerce any s*xual contact or behavior without consent)
4. Non-physical forms of abuse (verbal/emotional/ psychological/ Financial/Neglect)
We at DNFOUNDATION believe that in the timeless Martin Luther King Jr's "I HAVE A DREAM" speech when he said:
"You have been the veterans of creative suffering. Continue to work with the faith that unearned suffering is redemptive."
I assure you that, we will do our best to save you from all these cruel and inhumane acts in shaa Allah. Know that all these evil and pain you face are undeserved.
I'm really saddened at the frequency of R**E CASES I'm reading in my Direct Messages. Sexual Violence and Harassment is on the rise and someone has to do something about it.
The way some men who act very gentle and responsible are taking advantage of some ladies really saddens my heart 😔.
First of all, it is haraam to be romantically touching women you are not married to.
Secondly, even if you are married, you must not force your wife to sleep with her. You have to be kind and find a very respectful way to have access to her. Paying her bride price doesn't give you the right to turn her forcefully into your s*x toy.
Yes, she is obliged to satisfy you s*xually just as you have to satisfy her but do it in a very pleasant manner.
Also, I don't support s*x before marriage but if you and a lady are in a haraam relationship, you have to have her consent and let her give you the permission to have s*x with her,
The last but not the least, in fact this is the main reason why I'm making this post, is taking advantage of girls you are friends with and forcing them to sleep with them. This is very WRONG ON ALL LEVELS. THIS IS SEXUAL HARASSMENT. THIS IS R**E and THIS IS PUNISHABLE BY ALLAH just like all the other haraam s*xual intimacies and PUNISHABLE BY LAW.
The POST TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDERS 😩 😪 😫 the victims go through is very sad. There could be possibilities of Sexually Transmitted Diseases.
They have to live with it for life and they're never themselves again after such cruel incidents.
Most of them let is slide and can't do anything about it.
Today, we at DNFOUNDATION are drawing the line and not letting it slide anymore.
I've had a couple of ladies(names withheld because of medical ethics, rules and for security reasons) open up to me about their experiences and how they couldn't voice it out to nobody, not even their mothers. They are suffering in silence 🔕 and have no voice.
I feel so helpless because I alone can't do much about it but I know together we can do something.
EACH ONE OF US CAN MAKE AN IMPACT BUT TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A CHANGE.
Don't sit down and do nothing about it because one day, it could be you, your sister or your daughter if we don't act NOW.
