Happy Earth Day

With support from , , and ORCA, is empowering young people to create projects that make a real environmental impact.

From creating a ceramic bee drinking station that supports pollinators to building birdhouses, youth are learning how art, innovation, and sustainability can protect our environment, promote cleaner air, and build greater environmental awareness.

As a first step, our students will proudly display their pieces at the YESS Festival on May 17 at

And we’re just getting started, this summer, youth will also create a community mosaic through ceramic recycling, giving pottery new life instead of sending it to waste while creating connection and building community. We’ll also be calling on local artists to contribute to this community project as we continue building Parkland into a creative district—and because Arivva deserves to be seen, we need a sign that reflects the creativity growing here.

It’s not too late to join our free 4-session YESS Youth Climate program. Participants are creating art, exploring climate themes, and preparing submissions for the festival.
Next sessions: Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday from 5:00–7:00 PM
We provide take-home art kits! All materials are included so you can continue working on your project between sessions.
Ages: 14–22
