Really great small town cemetery where I grew up. Have family here, and the start point of our families St Patrick’s Day parade, which aside from this year is going on 20+ straight years.

Still one of my favorite headstones, and it happens to be my fathers. Let me know if you have an idea of how you want to be memorialized, however small or large the idea we’d love to help create a timeless memorial for your family.

Just wanted to announce that on Tuesday of this week, our funeral establishment Scanlin Cremation and Burial is open. I look forward to serving not only my local community within Pierce County, but all of Western Washington. Our physical doors will be open June 1st, 2020, located in University Place. In the mean time, we are available to serve all people during these trying times. More news to come, stay tuned for the coming weeks.

Our Story

There came a point in my journey as both a human being truthful to myself and a Funeral Director hitting a critical point in my development and learning, that a change was needed. I wanted to accomplish three things in this next step of our journey.

  • Move Home and Serve The Community That I Grew Up In

  • Model My Business So That I Would Use It Myself

  • Create Value For Families That Allows More People To Celebrate Lives
