A little afternoon ⚡️ ZAP! ⚡️ for the win! Red veins on the face, often referred to as spider veins or thread veins, are small, damaged blood vessels that appear just beneath the skin’s surface. They are usually harmless and primarily a cosmetic concern, but treatments like laser therapy can help reduce their appearance if desired. This patient had several fine veins spread across a few different areas but one just below her eye that she really wanted gone. The spot will be purpley for a day or two but then should lighten to almost invisible. A second treatment may be necessary for it to fully dissipate.
