Notes on Monday’s Zoom Meeting from President Virginia Ferguson:
Thanks to everyone who joined our meeting last night. We did get some dates set for the next couple of months. Please get them on your calendar;
Park clean up: April 8, 1 PM (A Thursday). If the weather is totally foul, we’ll try again the next Thursday, but let’s hope just one will be enough. More info to come.
Plant Sale: May 8 (Saturday). Hours 10-1, set up starting about 8:30. At Donna’s place in Steilacoom (this is where we held the Spring Sale last year). There is some sort of community celebration in Steilacoom that day, so we might as well piggy-back on the advertising. No second day scheduled. If you want to donate plants to the sale, you are welcome to do so, but proceeds from this one go to the club. Sale notice will be posted in a couple of weeks.
There may be a second Summer Sale in late June, as we have done in the past couple years, but that is still to be determined.
Send your club dues to Mary Best (address in your email & roster). $15/pp.
Betty Foster still needs a couple of weeks covered for watering plants at Donna’s. Give her a call or email her if you can take care of a week in April to keep the plants looking good for the sale. Phone number & email in your email & roster.
It was nice getting to know Valerie and Jeff Nosky-Webb last night. Welcome! Glad to have as members of TFS! We are looking forward to having them join us at the Park and Donna’s for watering and the sale.
