June 10th 1935 an amazing thing happened. A shaky surgeon took his last drink and performed his last drunken surgery. Dr. Bob left the hospital and ran around town making amends and building a foundation to save the lives of countless alcoholics. First of all thank God for touching the heart of Dr Bob, secondly thank Dr Bob and Bill W. for following Gods direction in formulating a program that continues to assist countless hurting people restore their lives. Happy 90th Birthday AA

We are NOW listed on the WTSC (WA Traffic Safety Commission) registry for our DUI Victim Impact Panels!

We've always been licensed in WA as a Behavioral Health Agency for substance use treatment.
But it was recently brought to my attention that some courts won't accept completion certificates for attending a DUI Victim Impact Panel UNLESS the agency providing the service, is listed on this registry..

Well we are now! 😊😁

Yes, you will need to make up any missed days..

If the weather is bad enough, the office will be closed to the staff as well.

We're wanting to help you reach your goals a little easier.

Some words of wisdom from my sweet friend, Carrie Booker 's page.

**Had to share.. 🙏❤️I remember before I tried drugs (pills, co***ne, m**h, he**in all of it) I hadn’t done anything but smoked a couple times and drank, and I asked someone what it was like. They said “it’s like a nice warm/numb feeling, idk how to explain it really” and they were right, but now if someone were to ever ask me what it’s like, id tell them.. Its like
- spending every single penny you ever had, on drugs.
- going days without eating even though you were starving, but you needed dope more.
- having to lie to every family and friend you had ever had.
- waking up hating yourself from the shame and guilt.
- going into withdrawals every 8 hours unless you had more dope to do. (And you usually didn’t)
- never attending any family event because you were too high or too sick.
- everyone eventually stopped inviting you to events. And even talking to you.
- everything was on your drug dealers time. If they said five hours. You’ll wait five hours in a car throwing up from being so sick.
- stealing everything worth value for dope. No matter how sentimental it was to you, or someone else.
- losing so much weight you can’t fit into any of your clothes.
- losing everything you’ve ever owned in your entire life.
- nobody believing a word you said, even if it was the truth.
- being a prisoner inside your own head.
- contemplating su***de every single day.
- never being scared to die, that’s what you wanted.
- trying to shut your brain up for even five minutes. It was worth that little time of peace.
- seeing your family cry for you to stop, only for you to leave and go get high. Because stopping wasn’t an option. It wasn’t possible.
- you’d do absolutely anything for more. And you did.
- everyone hating you no matter where you went, because they knew you were a drug addict.
- overdosing and going to get high right after.
- walking into rehab 100 pounds with clothes on and scared to death.
- giving your entire life away..
So if you’re ever curious like I was, please at least know the truth. Curiosity killed the cat, and it’ll kill you too” **

This is for anyone fighting or still fighting this horrible battle.
