Husky CERT at UW Tacoma The purpose of this organization shall be to provide emergency response assistance to members of the University of Washington Tacoma campus community.

The purpose of this organization shall be to provide emergency response assistance to members of the University of Washington Tacoma campus community in the event of disaster or otherwise large-scale event, when local Emergency Services are overwhelmed. The organization will also advance student, faculty, and staff training in basic medical operations, search and rescue, and fire suppression skill

s thereby training individuals in various departments and areas how to provide assistance to members of the campus community. This organization was founded to encourage the advancement of medical and emergency services education to the general individual at the UW Tacoma campus.
