They call it “resistance to change.” I call it unprotected vision.🤯

Flashback to episode 21 of 𝗚𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗧𝗬 𝓲𝓼 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓝𝓮𝔀 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗬 𝗣𝗼𝗱𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁 🎙️with Stacey Crnich from where we’re flipping the script on fear-driven leadership.💪🏽✨

🔍Because here’s the truth:
Change isn’t the enemy.
✨It’s the invitation.

But most small businesses and agencies?
They’re still running plays from outdated systems.
Still managing change like it’s a threat to survive not a tool to scale sustainably.📈

👩🏽‍💻As a change manager, I don’t just walk in with a new plan. I walk in with a new lens 👓 focused on the people side of change.

We unpack 🧳:
• Why most change fails (and it’s not what you think)
• How fear-based leadership slows innovation
• What it takes to take strategic risk without sabotaging trust

Change doesn’t have to cost you your clarity.
But ignoring it?🤦🏽‍♀️
That’ll cost you everything.

Imagine what the Grit City Women community could achieve if every bold idea, every pivot, every ambitious leap forward didn’t just happen it stuck💪🏽

That’s the magic ✨of working with a change manager. As a certified Organizational Change Manager I’m here to help you turn your vision into a movement your whole team can rally behind. We’ll cut through the overwhelm, make change feel doable (even exciting), and build the momentum that carries you through the hard parts.

👷🏽‍♀️🏗️Entrepreneurs – You’re building something from the ground up, and every decision feels high-stakes. A change manager helps you roll out new offerings, systems, or markets without losing your brand’s soul.
Example: You’re launching your first online course. I help you align your marketing, tech, and customer experience so the launch feels seamless and your audience is excited to sign up.

📉👩🏽‍💼Small Business Owners – Growth is thrilling… and messy. A change manager makes sure your team adapts smoothly so progress doesn’t get derailed by confusion or burnout.
Example: You’re expanding from one store to three. I help you replicate your culture, train your team for consistency, and keep morale high through the rapid changes.

👩🏽‍💻🗣️Agencies – Your clients’ needs evolve fast, and so must your operations. A change manager helps you streamline workflows, introduce new tools, and keep teams engaged so creativity doesn’t get bogged down by transition.
Example: You’re adopting a new project management platform. I help you plan the rollout, train staff, and keep projects moving without missing deadlines.

This isn’t about endless meetings or complicated jargon it’s about real, practical steps that make your next big move smoother, faster, and more impactful.

💪🏽Because Grit City Women don’t just adapt to change we shape it. And when we do it together, there’s no limit to what we can build.

Let’s talk about what’s next for you and how we can make sure it sticks.

Welcome to Grit City Women! I’m Krystle Edward and want to introduce myself to any new followers. First off, thank you for being apart of this vision🙏🏽. My leadership journey began out of a tragedy in 2015 with the sudden loss of my best friend, which shattered the trajectory of mediocrity I was on. And it ignited the one I was meant to lead. Liz’s unexpected passing didn’t just upend my world it ignited the path I was always meant to walk💔. In that ache, I discovered strength I didn’t know I had. The last 10 years weren’t simply about healing; they wrote my blueprint and I went from surviving to thriving💪🏽.

My journey has taught me that true grit is forged at your limits and it isn’t just endurance, it’s FREQUENCY ✨

Episode 28 🎙️: Beyond the Spotlight 🔦 with

You know Vicci Martinez as the fierce and unforgettable🎬 “Daddy” on Orange Is the New Black (Seasons 6 & 7), her iconic turn as Frida Kahlo on HBOmax’s Clone High, and her soul-shaking rise on 🎤The Voice. Grit City locals know her from the legendary Vicci Martinez Band where she rocked the stage as a teenager🎶.

But the real story? The one behind the spotlight? You haven’t heard that one — until now.

In this raw, truth-soaked conversation, Vicci sits down with host Krystle Edwards (founder of ) to talk about what fame doesn’t fix and the healing that happens when you stop performing and start coming home to yourself.

From sold-out stages to soul-deep sobriety, Vicci shares what it really costs to stay authentic in industries built to brand you before you’ve even figured out who you are. Through it all, she’s kept her core intact and she’s not here to play the game by someone else’s rules.

This isn’t just a celebrity interview. It’s about being whole.

In this episode, we get gritty about:
💪🏽Rejection to Resilience — Staying real while building a career that doesn’t break you
✨Sobriety Over Sales — Choosing healing in a system that glamorizes chaos
🤯The Producer Ultimatum — A boundary crossed behind the scenes of OITNB: gift or curse?
💕Sisterhood, Not Rivalry — Dismantling competition culture and building real trust between women

Update: Brinnon Fire acted swiftly and conservatively to prevent to the spread of the fire 🔥 and loss of life. From my experience in emergency response and Shay’s as a firefighter this is exactly what you want. 👏🏽Several agencies responded to support and all resources were activated including air support. Our neighbors are able to return home and stay on alert. 5 acres lost and so far it’s contained. Thanking our lucky stars no one was hurt. ✨
————————
Praying for the Brinnon community and our neighbors. Our special place is under serious threat to a wildfire. In September we had a scare with the Duckabush fire. Now it’s very close and hard to be optimistic. It’s a very special place for my family. I am so grateful for for for coming out for my 40th and capturing these photos for us. 💔💔💔

I can’t believe it’s been 7 years! My dad texted me to ask when we climbed Rainier and my response was “ 5 years ago, I think”, thank goodness for FB memories 🤣. Time flies when you are doing the damn thang.

The mountains are a special place for me. I feel closer to my best friend ✨ and to be honest closer to myself. 🏔️

I gathered this group of friends and family for this epic adventure. We trained together practiced our safety and rescue techniques leading up to it. The first night we camped in an ice storm 🥶. We started with 3 teams and 2 summited, including my rope team of 3 (all women).

It was the hardest physical thing I have done. With asthma and my comadre 🩸visiting days early on the summit push it became a game of GRIT.

It’s fun to revisit this feature and reminisce while hanging with the little one.
