So I chose to face the weather and the hills today on my run and just like life it was a mix of elements. The snow at first was fluffy and beautiful and then at times it was sleet pelting me in the face, the hills were tough going up, even had to walk abit, but the top feels like a victory and how it helps shape you is an experience like no other. I have found you never feel worse after a good workout:) Seize your day!

Self-Care is the theme for 2020:)
Feeling emotionally exhausted looks different for everyone but can take a toll on your health, relationships and self esteem!
When we have reached our capacity emotionally to give to others or ourselves we are disconnected from our true purpose and our source. Keeping us from giving all that we can to others and ourselves, only giving partially. This year I am taking this seriously and finding out what fills me up and keeps me physically and emotionally vibrant, full-filled and joyful! That's what I want to offer others as well but can't do it if I'm not!
Self-Care isn't always comfortable but always necessary!

What are you doing for self-care this year you haven't in the past?

I started napping with a purpose to recharge, recenter and lower cortisol (adrenaline)! Instead of using it as an excuse to avoid, isolate or procrastinate. That was my example from my growing up with a mom that suffered from depression. It's a beautiful practice and has shown to be super mindful and healthy!
