At Simply Hot Yoga Wellness Center (SHY), we provide a variety of hot / warm yoga classes designed for students of all levels - from first time students to well seasoned yogis, there is something for everyone! We offer traditional Hatha, Power Vinyasa, and Fusion just to name a few. We also offer warm yoga classes such as Simply Yin. If you want to take your workout to the next level and burn a few extra calories, we offer Simply Sweat (yoga bootcamp) and Simply Sculpt (yoga with weights). We have a variety of yoga classes to fit everyone's needs. In addition to hot yoga, SHY offers an array of Wellness Services that EVERYONE will love! From infrared sauna heat therapy, private yoga instruction and personal training, you will have no choice but to feel rejuvenated! Last but not least, our studio offers a variety of Barre classes, including pilates barre and tabata barre! There is absolutely no reason to look any further, your journey to optimal health and wellness begins here at SHY!

“Where to even to begin. I first attended SHY when it first opened 13 years ago. And I’m so proud to see how it has grown into such a welcoming warm community. The staff is so great and they remember your name. And once you come in to check-in for your class, they will even welcome you by your name.

And it’s not just about hot Hatha yoga. There are other classes such as warm sculpt, which the teacher Crystal sets a playlist to go with the workout. You forget you just worked out your whole body, in a heated room no less, because you’re too busy enjoying the music!

They also have a class called barre, again, a great workout head to toe, and there’s a class called Yin, where you simply just relax and stretch and very mindful and peaceful. The studio welcomes beginners and experts. No judgment, you feel welcomed and embraced.

And it’s such a great community, and I’m so glad I have returned! Since rejoining in June, I have gained muscle, strength, confidence and have lost over 20 pounds!! You can do a trial run at a very low cost.”

Our Sunday 7:30 pm Yin Yoga with Maggie is your permission slip to fully unwind before a new week begins. This unheated, deeply restorative class is paired with a sound bath experience unique to Maggie—using soothing vibrations to calm the nervous system, release stress, and guide you into true rest.

Sound baths can help improve sleep, promote mental clarity, and support emotional release—leaving you feeling grounded, balanced, and restored.

Looking for mid-week relaxation? We also offer Yin Yoga on Wednesdays at 7:30 pm with Jessica—the same nourishing stillness, without sound bowls, and perfect for resetting halfway through the week.

Our 30 Days Challenge kicks off February 1, and the first step starts now:
👉 Put your name on the board in the studio. That’s it. That’s the move.

💡 Can’t commit to 30 classes and/or sauna sessions in 30 days? No problem. You can still participate by adding your name and setting a personal goal that feels right for you.
Consistency > perfection, always.

🔥 AND for those going for the full 30 & 30:
Anyone who completes 30 classes and/or 1-hour sauna sessions by March 2 will be automatically entered into a raffle—one winner, one special prize 🎁

New SHY Instructor 📣

We’re excited to welcome Ben to the SHY Family! 🙌🏽

Born and raised in Texas and now calling Tacoma home, Ben brings over a decade of experience to the mat. His classes are a powerful blend of challenge, creativity, and play — with thoughtful sequencing that’s as mentally refreshing as it is physically demanding. Expect to work hard, stay curious, and find joy in the effort. ✨

Ben will be taking over our Monday 6 PM Power Vinyasa class starting next week (1/26), and you’ll also catch him subbing from time to time — so be sure to jump into his class when you see his name on the schedule! 🔥
