Vision Care Associates Our mission is to offer all patients the highest quality care, services, and materials in a positive and compassionate environment.

We are a full-scope optometric practice. We diagnose and treat eye diseases such as: conjuctivitis (pink eye), glaucoma (high eye pressure), stabismus (eye turn), Amblyopia (lazy eye), and foreign body removal (metal in the eye). Dr. Hays and Dr. Eckroth specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of learning related vision problems. We have a veteran vision therapist on staff who facilitates the treatment of eye teaming and tracking problems. Dr. Hays and Dr. Eckroth also fit standard and speciality contact lenses (keratoconus, post-surgical, gas permeable, CRT). Our optical offers a full line of amazing frames and the highest quality lenses. No appointment is needed to pick-out glasses.

Healthy vision plays a vital role in a child’s development, learning, and success in and out of the classroom. Yet many children don’t even know they’re struggling—and parents may miss the signs.

Learning related vision problems are often missed. A child can read the letters below; However, they will struggle with reading speed & comprehension. They will often times have reversals of letters and numbers or write up or down hill.
