🦀🦁❤️ Another crab feed w my class of 91! We collectively agree that our parents sending us to all those years ago (you do the math) was one of greatest decisions of our childhoods. We live in multiple different states but have made this event something that brings us together each spring & connects us to our past, our Alma Mater, and each other. Such a great night and for once - in April - we got to pre-func on my PATIO instead of inside my house! It always rains this night…cheers to another year of health happiness & aging backwards 🤌🏼 Go Lions

Final lap of the roadtrip! Stayed up way too late so technically the 🍷was day 6….Woke up to giggling wild turkeys (first time for that) in the most gorgeous setting in Lisa & JJs guest room, snapped a sunrise pic & tried to fall back asleep in my hungover state…
headed closer up to Mt Hood & the down to the town of Hood River which is SO cute. Tried on some clothes, didn’t buy, grabbed pizza & a real coke iykyk.
Headed over to Pdx and up to WA. Definitely smart to not save the longest leg for last! Last day was only about 4 hours driving all told & we were home to enjoy some warm spring afternoon sun. Awesome trip overall, 7 different beds in 7 days, 5 states, around 1900 miles and no meltdowns. I definitely didn’t appreciate Luke leaving both his suitcase (UT) & charging equipment (ID) & I only told Shane he was annoying the 💩 outta me once. As a passenger princess I’d do it again 🤩

Roadtrip day ✋🏼 Started in Twin Falls, ID, got the cheapest gas of the trip at $4.05 (Costco) and went for an early morning visit to which was so cool just next to a fun beach park that’s probably hopping in the summer. Longest drive day (600+) 🥱 and crossed into state #4 for stops in Baker City (blah) then Pendleton, OR (looooove). Forgot to snap a pic of the coolest wool fringe jacket ($1800🥴) that only came in one size 😠. I guess if you’re not size 2-6 you can’t even try on that piece. Wish we could’ve done the tour but we had to be on our way to have a home stay at Lisa & JJs new build near Hood River. Truly magnificent with views tdf and deer & wild turkeys just walking around everywhere 🦌🦃🌅 Enjoyed the alpenglow sunset, stayed up drinking 🍷 til after midnight and caught up on all the things ❤️
headed home on day 6!

Roadtrip Day 4-Fillmore UT to SLC to Lava Hot Springs to Twin Falls ID. Discovered that Luke left his suitcase at the free breakfast at the last hotel 🥴 Stayed in a 💩hole in Fillmore, couldn’t get out there fast enough. Drove to SLC & headed to the great salt lake, got in it! Smells heavily…hard to imagine a resort thrived there w half a million visitors a year 100 years ago but the water was surprisingly warm for April. Got In & Out then Swig (actually delicious), then tried out a town called Lava hot springs which is probably pretty cool in the summer but it was windy & chilly so we just got drinks and kept on chugging….landed in Twin Falls where Shane got a massage & the lady literally jumped up the table on his back and walked on it which he loved while Luke & I refitted his wardrobe & got Thai food 🥘

Day 3 Page AZ-Bryce Canyon/Beaver/Fillmore UT. Saw a cool dam, the hoodoos at Bryce made me dizzy…the scope is so huge and you can see for 90m in some areas…the depth made my brain wavy. Overall astonishing and so cool though. Won at pool after pizza, are staying at a freaking MOTEL (oops) tonight but lucky for us, we got here to find Luke left his suitcase in Page. SRSLY.😭🤦‍♀️

Roadtrip day 2: Sedona-Grand Canyon. The Watchtower is a 100/10 stop on the east side of the south rim, we stopped at 3 spots and this one was clearly on the international itinerary bc every person there was speaking a different language. Less crowded, almost private, and the ticket to climb to the top of the watchtower is free. Headed out of AZ…
