Most arguments are surface-level.

But underneath, there’s usually a need:
to feel heard, safe, important, or connected.

When you can start naming the need instead of the frustration,
everything begins to shift.

Save this to come back to.

A lot of people are taught to express needs through frustration.

“You never…”
“You always…”

But underneath that is usually something softer:

“I want to feel close to you”
“I want to feel important to you”

When the need comes out as criticism, it’s hard to hear.

When it comes out as vulnerability, it’s easier to respond to.

That shift is small—but it changes everything.

They share why the way couples fight can predict the future of their relationships — and show how anybody can transform conflict into an op...

When couples say “we can’t communicate,”
what they often mean is:
“We don’t feel seen, heard, or understood.”

And over time, that turns into a cycle.

The good news?

Once you can see the pattern, you can start to change it.

Save this if it feels familiar. You’re not alone in this!
