Techniques for Practicing Mindfulness Meditation

1. Focused Breathing:
- Sit comfortably with your back straight.
- Close your eyes gently.
- Focus your attention on your breath. Notice the sensation of the air entering and leaving your nostrils or the rise and fall of your chest.
- If your mind wanders, gently bring your focus back to your breath.

2. Body Scan:
- Lie down or sit comfortably.
- Slowly focus your attention on each part of your body, starting from your toes and moving up to the top of your head.
- Notice any sensations, tension, or relaxation without trying to change anything.

3. Observing Thoughts:
