EFFECTIVE APRIL 1, 2023: In order to provide you the best care possible, Keays Medical Group has updated our policies. Please read them carefully. If you have any questions, feel free to ask any of our clinic staff.
LATE CANCELLATION & NO-SHOW FEE
To ensure each one of our patients receive the finest care possible, Keays Medical Group requires 48hr notice of a cancellation of an appointment. Appointments cancelled outside of this time frame (including one day ahead and same day) may be subject to a $125 fee. Cancellations same day and one day prior are considered no-shows. No-shows are assessed from the same fee. Anyone who is ten minutes late (or more) to appointments will be rescheduled and charged as a no-show.
If there is a consistency in no-shows, you may be subject to discharge from the clinic. These charges are not covered by insurance and must be paid in full prior to your next appointment.
PAYMENT FOR SERVICES
Our contract is with our patients, not with their insurance company, attorneys or third parties, with the exception of the Department of Labor and Industries (L&l) and the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS). We will bill your primary insurance directly as a courtesy. Because there are so many variables among insurance companies, it is your responsibility to be informed of your health care benefits, deductible and co-pays, and if the plan requires a referral or authorization for office visits and procedures. As part of your contract with your insurance company, co-payments must be made at each visit; there are no exceptions.
In order to remain in treatment at Keays Medical Group, all balances must be paid in full each month. Payment is expected at the time of check-in. Services may be with-held if an account has an outstanding balance and if left unaddressed, may lead to discharge from the practice.
Payment plans can be arranged on a case-by-case basis.
