We are a residential treatment program for adolescents with substance abuse disorders ages 13-17. Shoreline helps teens who want help.

Shoreline Treatment Center offers treatment to boys and girls aged 13-17 that have problems with alcohol and/or other drugs. Located in Taft, TX, Shoreline provides inpatient care in the realm of substance use disorder utilizing individual and group counseling based on the 12-step program. Shoreline also provides educational services to those still in middle or high school. Shoreline can help make your future brighter, healthier, and drug-free!

Behind the scenes in the kitchen 🍽️

At Shoreline, our kitchen staff goes the extra mile every single day to make sure our youth are cared for with more than just meals — they serve comfort, encouragement, and love. From preparing warm meals to creating a welcoming environment, their hard work helps make Shoreline feel like home for the kids we serve.

We are so grateful for our amazing kitchen team and the heart they put into everything they do. Thank you for being an important part of the healing journey for our youth. 💙

Creativity can be a powerful tool in healing and recovery. 🎨✨

Velma on the Boys Unit put together a therapeutic art project for the boys, giving them a healthy and creative way to express themselves and relieve stress. The boys were able to use their imagination, focus their emotions into art, and even participate in a friendly contest for the best artwork! 🖌️🏆

At Shoreline, we believe it’s important to teach our youth positive coping skills and therapeutic ways to manage stress, emotions, and everyday challenges. Activities like these help build confidence, encourage self-expression, and remind our youth that healing can happen in many different forms.

Great job to all the boys who participated, and thank you Velma for creating such a meaningful experience for our youth! 💙

💚 May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

Mental health is just as important as physical health, and asking for help is a sign of strength — not weakness. Every day, our team works to provide a safe, supportive environment where adolescents can heal, grow, and feel heard.

We are proud to stand beside our youth and families through every step of the journey. Together, we can break the stigma and remind others that it’s okay to not be okay. 🌊

There’s something special about getting your hands in the dirt and watching growth happen 🌱

Our Boys Unit at Shoreline 🌊spent time cleaning the Serenity Therapy Garden 🪏 watering plants 🪴 and sweeping 🧹the garden area together. Gardening has become a positive outlet for many of our youth — helping reduce stress, encourage responsibility, and create a stronger connection with nature and healing.

A special thank you to Counselor Irene for making this possible for the boys unit and for continuing to create meaningful therapeutic activities for our youth 💙

We had a great time attending the Conscious Collaborations 2026 Conference hosted by Family Counseling Service!

Shoreline had a wonderful time at their meet & greet! Our Business Development team, Robert Martinez and Tiffany Walters, along with Chief of Operations Scott Kelley, enjoyed connecting and building relationships with these amazing ladies.
