This month, we’re raising awareness about teen dating violence and equipping teens with knowledge, support, and hope.
Help is always available.

Awareness leads to prevention.
This February, we’re raising awareness about teen dating violence and sharing resources that empower teens to recognize healthy vs. unhealthy relationships.
Knowledge is power — and no one has to face this alone.

We had such a wonderful time at our Keetoowah Elder Day on February 13! ❤️

It was a great day filled with fellowship, good food, laughter, and just a little friendly competition. Seeing our elders come together to visit, play bingo, enjoy the fish fry, and spend time with one another truly made the day special.

Thank you to everyone who came out and shared the day with us. And a big thank you to all who helped plan, prepare, cook, organize, and make this event such a success. We appreciate you all so much! 💜

It’s Random Acts of Kindness Day! 💛

We challenge you to do as many random acts of kindess you can today! One small act can change someone’s entire day!

Earlier this month, our Tahlequah team decorated Starbucks sleeves with positive messages that are being handed out at Tahlequah Starbucks today ☕️

Whether you’re impacted by a random act of kindness or you get a sleeve, we would love to know! Share a photo below!

Have a wonderful day!

Come out and support your 2026–2027 UKB Youth Council!

The Council of the United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians has declared that the spiritual, mental, physical, and social well-being of our youth is the highest priority.

Through Tribal Resolution, the formation of the UKB Youth Council ensures our young people have a voice and meaningful opportunities to grow as leaders, operating under the supervision, support, and encouragement of the Tribe and Echota Behavioral Health.

Traditionally, the hummingbird is a symbol of joy, resilience, and tireless energy. Though small, it carries powerful medicine, reminding us that even the smallest among us can carry great strength and bring light to the community. Our youth are those hummingbirds, full of life, purpose, and promise.

Come witness and support the next generation of leaders as they step forward with heart and vision for our people.

We hope to see you there. 💚🧡💛🩵

Inclusion is our love language. ❤️Happy Valentine’s Day from our team!
