Tonight, the National Indian Women’s Health Resource Center rolled out the red carpet to celebrate Austin Perry with a special private screening of Unbreakable Boy!

The theater was packed as Austin received the full star treatment alongside family, teachers, and friends. Austin, who plays Little Logan LeRette in the film, was just a toddler when he filmed his role. Unbreakable Boy hits theaters this weekend!

The film promotes inclusion, kindness, and thinking outside the box when it comes to bullies, reminding us that true strength comes from understanding and embracing differences. Unbreakable Boy tells a powerful story about overcoming challenges and defying labels, showing how love and positivity can reshape perspectives on adversity. The film encourages viewers to look beyond surface judgments and treat others with empathy and kindness rather than exclusion. By celebrating Austin’s role in this impactful story, we also celebrate the message that everyone deserves to be seen, valued, and treated with kindness. A message that resonates deeply in the fight against bullying.

Austin’s parents, Katy & Tyler Perry, shared their gratitude for this special night:

“We are so thankful we got to share this experience with friends and family who have impacted Austin’s and our lives. Austin loved the red carpet!”

Did you know?

Each state is allowed to have two statues in the United States Capitol Building to represent its history and people.

For Oklahoma, both statues honor Cherokee citizens:

🪶 Sequoyah (George Guess) – The creator of the Cherokee syllabary, which revolutionized literacy among the Cherokee people.

🎭 Will Rogers – The legendary humorist, actor, and social commentator known for his wit and wisdom.

Oklahoma’s deep Cherokee roots are proudly represented in the heart of our nation’s capital!
