Our team now features Certified SNAP Application Assistants, Roz Locust, DJ Battiest-Tomasi, Sammye Rusco, Pamela Rusco and Jennifer Phillips. They are well-trained by Hunger Free Oklahoma, ready to help you through the application process. With our dedicated assistants, you can confidently apply for SNAP benefits.

In Cherokee County, a SNAP applicant may call for an appointment or we have walk-in hours on Thursdays and Fridays after 1:00 pm. and additionally we can be available at the Tahlequah Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings from 8:00am to 12:00pm.

CCHSC Senior 918 Volunteers partnered with Cherokee County Nursing Center for Older Americans Month. They met today to visit with residents and deliver the small gifts they collected; such as: scented bath gel, shampoo and soaps, little small travel size Kleenex packets, packaged snacks, arts and craft things, books, etc.
CCHSC Senior 918 volunteers are part of the Americorps Senior program.
