📢 Office Update 📢

Please note that Dena will be out of the office on Thursday, October 9th and Friday, October 10th.

We will have a provider available for urgent visits only. Examples of urgent visits include:

Fever 🤒
Ear infections 👂
Sore throat 😷
Rash 🌸
Urinary tract infections (UTIs) 🚻
Minor injuries 🩹
Respiratory issues (cough, wheezing, shortness of breath) 🌬️

👉 We’ve also heard that the provider covering those days is excellent at starting IVs and would love to give Lipo shots! She may even cut you a deal while she’s here. 💉✨

If you need care for chronic conditions (such as diabetes, high blood pressure, or medication management) or routine primary care needs, please call our office, and our staff will be happy to schedule your appointment for the following week.

📢 **Schedule Update – Thursday, October 9th & Friday, October 10th**

On **Thursday, October 9th, and Friday, October 10th**, DEL Health will be offering **urgent walk-in visits only**.

Examples of urgent visit types include:
✅ Cough, cold, or flu-like symptoms
✅ Fever
✅ Ear pain or infection
✅ Sore throat
✅ Rash
✅ Minor injury or acute pain

We will not be scheduling routine checkups, well visits, or medication refills during these two days.

A covering provider will be available and filling in for Dena to ensure our patients continue to receive quality care.

📢 **Important Medicare Update on Telehealth Coverage** 📢

Starting October 1st, Medicare’s expanded telehealth benefits are set to expire. This means that some virtual visits you’ve been able to access from home may no longer be covered if you have Medicare. However, some commercial insurances will follow the guidelines of Medicare.

✅ What you should do:
We strongly encourage all our patients to call your insurance provider to confirm if they will continue covering telehealth visits after October 1st. Coverage may vary by plan.
