Who We Are
Dr. Gene Woodard, Licensed Audiologist, is an Oklahoma native. He grew up in Bartlesville, OK and attended both Oklahoma State University and the University of Tulsa. He earned his doctorate in audiology at Wichita State University. Dr. Woodard, often called DR GENE by his patients, has been married to his wife, Julie, for over 40 years. Dr. Woodard is committed to bringing the best hearing aid care to Tahlequah and the surrounding area.
Dr. Gene Woodard has been serving the Tahlequah community since 1997. Beginning in August, 2000, Dr. Woodard shared office space with Dr. Tracey Childers and provided audiological services for both Dr. Childers and Dr. Susan Anderson until both left Tahlequah early in 2019. Dr. Woodard has had the only permanent hearing aid office in Tahlequah since 2000.
Advantage Audiology & Hearing Aids offers the latest in digital hearing aid technology and works with most major manufacturers including Starkey, Signia (formerly Siemens), Unitron, Phonak, and ReSound. AAHA offers the Unitron FLEX program which allows users to ‘try before you buy” hearing aids at absolutely no cost.
