Buccal/ facial massage and what to know 🙌🏼
Buccal means cheek in Latin, this is not a specific type of Massage but location of massage.
If you suffer from TMJ disfunction, headaches, bite misalignment, or even esthetic concerns such as wrinkles, sagging and dullness, buccal and facial massage can help!
This massage is all about communication! During your appointment we will discuss in detail your concerns, what you want for long term goals and your lifestyle (this will help me determine if you need to make any lifestyle modifications, such as diet, activity, environment etc.) and home care. All of this will play a huge role in your lasting results.
As you can see in the selfie I have uploaded, I worked the buccal and jaw on the one side and left the other side alone. I work this side for 10 minutes adjusting my techniques along the way for my personal long term goals. You can clearly see a difference in the tightness and definition on the side that was worked compared to the other even lifting my lips and getting the puffiness under my eye.
