MY MORNING:
We are in such times. There is a worldwide pandemic, with the US not exactly leading the world by example. We have unrest in our towns and cities. We are very divided in the way we see a pathway to our future. We all have personal stressors around many of these issues.
Its time to spend some time in our heart. To slow it all down and connect to the knowing inside. My choice is to do Heart Focused Breathing and Heart Lock-In first thing in the morning. These techniques balance my body systems and energy field with the love and support of my Creative Force. What I call the ‘Creative Force’ or the ‘All’ exists everywhere. The ‘ALL’ that we are all a part of connects everyone/thing to each other. The ‘All” is the part of us that knows that for growth to happen things often need to break. Out of that broken-ness can sprout necessary change. Once I’m breathing that ALL energy in and out through my heart, I settle into appreciation and acceptance in my heart, body and energy field – I like to just ‘be’ and ‘sit’ with that for a few minutes. I let any emotions of fear, discomfort, frustration be transmuted into love for all (that awesome feeling of oneness when overlooking the Grand Canyon for the first time, or experiencing the magnificence of Yosemite, holding a newborn, experiencing the unconditional love of a pet, etc). It’s like a light coming in and shifting the fear, discomfort, frustration into a loving, shining light. I fill my entire body, all the way to the tips of my toes, fingertips, the top of my head and beyond .. filling my energy field with a bright, loving, shining light for myself and emanating to those around me.
When I bring those emotions of love into my being there is a measurable balance happening to my autonomic nervous system. My heart rate changes … my thought processes clear … my sympathetic and parasympathetic systems balance. Now I can greet my family and the day with clear thoughts and calm.
