Moving Into Harmony is a Physical Therapy and Hatha Yoga clinical practice that believes in the individual's capacity to harness their health is through mobility and movement. Our role is to offer solutions that align with the body's innate capacity to heal itself, and to the individual needs of each client based on their wants and desires to live their best life, because an individual’s health is uniquely within them. We offer effective movement-based solutions based in principles, not methods or exercises focused on just fixing a "problem" both clinically and online; and hands-on guidance for those in-person visits to open up avenues of greater potential that assist an individual in their healing process. The targeted programs individually developed between Shawn and his clients focus on life-long abilities and progressive ways to enhance a client's well-being as they achieve their desires.

The body dictates the breath’s behavior
what’s in the body….the mind lives in the body, the brain is the interpreter and sometimes the dictator)
The body is the realm of potential through which the brain can observe and act.
When the brain goes to sleep, the body does its work, and when the brain goes to sleep for a long time the body will carry it for a long time.

A new study strengthens the growing focus on the Deep Adipose Tissue (DAT) layer—situated in the deeper part of the subcutaneous connective tissue and distinct from the Superficial Adipose Tissue—as a frequent source of myofascial pain dysfunctions. For manual therapists, this adds further support to the assumption that techniques involving shear or cupping-like traction may be more effective than relying solely on vertical pressure.

Firmness conducts Flexibility

A longtime fellow Shadow Yoga practitioner coined the term, "Firmness, not Flexibility." Even the phrase itself redirects our attention from outward appearance to inward experience. As the mind and body become more supple, the commitment becomes more firm.

My teacher often referred to the Ethmoid as the lungs of the upper vault.

And when it vibrates with the winds that the breath travels on, the pituitary is stimulated.

It is also the center piece of the entire gear system of the facial bones, and has a reflected integral motion and dynamic with the sacrum.

Thank you Frank🙏❤️
