Welcome to the Multidisciplinary Evaluation and Consulting Center (MDC)

The Florida State University Multidisciplinary Evaluation and Consulting Center (MDC), College of Social Work, was established in 1983 through a grant through the Florida Department of Education, Bureau of Exceptional Educational and Student Services (BEESS). It is part of a network of six state-funded, regional FDLRS Multidisciplinary Educational Services Centers in Florida that provide a range of services including diagnostic evaluation and consultation services for children and youth identified as having complex medical, educational, emotional, and/or behavioral problems, as well as consultation, pre-service and in-service training for parents, teachers, other school and district personnel, and related providers and professionals. The MDC offers an APA Accredited Psychology Internship as well as other training placements.
