The CDR Health Team—pictured below with Kevin Guthrie, Executive Director of the Florida Division of Emergency Management—is showcasing one of our mobile medical units and the innovative solutions we bring in emergency response and healthcare through our partnerships with government clients to bring quality patient care to underserved patient populations across the nation with the provision of mobile urgent, emergent, and primary care services that can play a critical role in emergencies and disaster recovery!

Did you know? Sudden cardiac arrest is the #1 leading cause of death among young athletes and on school campuses, with approximately 1 in 300 youth having an undetected heart abnormality that puts them at risk for SCA.

Through her continued effort to raise awareness surrounding the importance and value of EKG screenings for our youth, CDR Health CEO, Tina Vidal-Duart, recently wrote a guest column for the Tallahassee Democrat—Bringing Attention to the Value of Early EKG Screenings in Leon County Schools.

If so, Vermont Center for Independent Living can get a team of nurses over to you today through Friday for an on-site vaccine clinic! (No cost, and no insurance info collected.)

Our amazing vaccine program partners at CDR Health were just able to get their time with us in Vermont extended.

We have ALL ages Moderna, Novavax 12+, flu, and high dose flu, and they are able to travel anywhere in the state of Vermont!

Thank you to Tallahassee Magazine for featuring Carlos Duart and Tina Vidal-Duart's story in Roads to Success for CDR Health—highlighting the many achievements of the Miami-born entrepreneurs who truly embody CDR Companies' roll-up-your-sleeves and mentality.

“We lead by example,” Vidal-Duart said of her and her husband’s management style. “There is nothing that we call on others to do that we would not do ourselves, even if that means responding to patient emails and giving them test results at 3 in the morning."

“I have always had a business mindset,” he said. “I started reading the Wall Street Journal when I was 11. Numbers are my thing. If you can competently and efficiently run a business and motivate its employees, you can do amazing things, and it’s not all about money.”

We are excited to once again be teaming up with Leon County Schools, the Foundation For Leon County Schools, and Who We Play For to bring ECG heart screenings to Leon County!

With CDR Health’s $25,000 donation and the efforts of ALL involved, we’re able to provide affordable electrocardiogram (ECG) heart screenings to sixth-grade students in Leon County at no cost, continue to raise awareness surrounding the increased risk for SCA due to undetected heart condition—and, together, do our part in continuing to save lives "For every kid who never had the opportunity." ♥
