Ok, quick story from two of our recent gender reveal days.

First couple – they came in buzzing with anticipation on a sunny afternoon. As the ultrasound revealed their little girl, we captured their joyful tears and high-fives in this adorable photo.

Cord Blood: What Every New Mom Should Know

1️⃣ What It Is:
Cord blood is the blood left in your baby’s umbilical cord and placenta after birth.
It’s rich in stem cells, which can develop into different types of blood and immune system cells—making it valuable for treating certain diseases.

2️⃣ Why It Matters:

Medical Uses: Cord blood stem cells are already used to treat over 80 diseases, including some cancers, blood disorders, and immune deficiencies.

Future Potential: Research is exploring its use in conditions like cerebral palsy, autism, and diabetes.

Family Safety Net: If you bank it, it could potentially be used for your child, siblings, or other relatives.

3️⃣ Your Options:

Private Banking: Stores your baby’s cord blood for your family’s exclusive use (usually has a collection fee + yearly storage fee).

Public Donation: Donates cord blood to a public registry where it can help someone in need. Usually free.
